Government service Pensions

Government service Pensions

I suggest: 1. Salaries agreed as a result of reorganisation agreements should be reflected in the service pension of retired government employees. 2. Retired government employees who had commuted part of their pension and are currently receiving a 1/2 pension should have it increased to 2/3 with effect from 12 years after the date of their retirement.

Points

it is a fair suggestion which would help a lot of pensioners make ends meet

I support this idea because the pension should reflect 2/3rd of the actual current salaries after 12 years because the commuted pension is worked over 12 years.

Ministers should lead by example. Any shady dealings or actions should be penalised by the removal of those involved. It should be seen that the same code of ethics binds all successive governments and not thrown away at their whim.
