I am an ex-serviceman and have a pension. I work full-time and because I have the service pension as well I am being charged 28% Income Tax from my wages. I suggest that the Service Pension would be considered as a part-time so in that case one will pay 15% on the pension and pay the normal tax on the wages. I am saying this as I meet a lot of former colleagues and they are not working because of this or they work part-time as it is not worth working full-time.
