Although local parties are all in favour of supporting working mothers by providing free childcare, not all schools are providing child care services for children aged between 3 and 12. There are only few schools which have introduced the club3to6 program, meaning that the majority of full time working mothers have to drop their careers as soon as their child reaches the age of 3. Therefore the government should consider introducing subsidized childcare centres for older children.
This should be a must if we want women to return to the workplace. Such a proposal would provide the support a lot of working mothers seek.
