Regular Driving Tests for Elderly Persons

Regular Driving Tests for Elderly Persons

Regular driving tests (every 5 years) should be put into place for drivers aged 60 years and over. A natural consequence of life is that as one ages, hand-eye coordination and physical abilities, among others, deteriorate. This deterioration can affect one's ability to drive properly and therefore regular tests (inclusive of a health test by TM appointed medical professionals) will ensure that elderly drivers do not pose a danger to themselves and others.
