Introduce Yearly Theatre Awards to acknowledge good theatre. The UK has the Oliviers. The US have the Tonys. Why can't theatre in Malta be acknowledged? This would professionalise the sector. We have a contest for songs (Eurovision) and we have awards for TV, so why not theatre?
first we need to develop a professional theatre set up we have tv awards which mean little or nothing. we need to reward professionalism and quality
