Introduce schemes to reduce the number of stray animals, including neutering schemes and enforcement of mandatory chipping.
I absolutely agree with this proposal. Speaking of strays, I think the culling of pigeons in our towns is unacceptable, not to mention the way it is done. There are far more humane methods (like sterilising feed) for controlling populations without pain and suffering.
I am unsure about the sterilization scheme. Whilst I'm not against neutering and spaying i do not agree that it happens en masse. If we carry on at this rate, cats and dogs will become endangered species. Totally pro enforcement of chipping however! Needs severe enforcement to protect animals.
