The Marsaskala Local Council wants to build a swimming pool in the Marsaskala bay when in Marsaskala we already have a swimming pool (previously served as the national swimming pool) albeit currently unused. I believe it would be more wise to reactivate and recommission this swimming pool rather than ruin our beautiful natural bay with a swimming pool.
There should be a heated indoor pool for senior citizens or anyone who suffers from arthritis, fibromyalgia etc..to be used as a therapy.
