Currently, IBGE is incapable to carry out local PM measurements if citizens complain about high local levels of air pollution from residential wood and waste burning, or from local wood-fired pizza-ovens. This has to improve! It cannot be that citizens have to equip themselves with PM meters, because the authorities choose to stay ignorant about the huge problem of air pollution from residential wood burning (according to the environmental protection agencies of the Netherlands and of Germany a today THE BIGGEST source of air pollution, BEFORE transport! ( https://gocar.be/fr/actu-auto/actualite/les-poeles-a-bois-plus-polluants-que-les-voitures?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=go_daily_fr_20210225 ) . In Poland, e.g. the authorities are equipped with drones that take measurements directly at the chimneys. It cannot be, that climate-friendly homes with mechanical ventilations (encouraged and subsidised by the Region) suck in the PM of wood/waste burning neighbors.
